Another gem at my local plant shop Plantsmith in Preston — the Ficus Elastica — or 'rubber plant' as it's sometimes known — is a beautiful strong and structural beauty. This variety is burgundy and the leaves are incredibly dark and rich. That said, when the light shines through, they have luminous qualities of blue, pink, green, red and purple. This is like Ficus Elastica II, but with a bright pink background for an extra pop in your home.
